Condolence to Michael Jackson

Well in case some of you may, or may not know, the king of pop has died. Michael Jackson, after living 50 years of the greatest music ever has died of a heart attack at UCLA. However, full information regarding his death is still skimpy, until the autopsy is formed.

Michael Jackson, living a life reaching the top. The top where few have ever reached, and he reached even further than that. His album Thriller has sold over 50 million copies, easily making it the greatest album ever. He then ran into controversy, and was about to go on a unprecedented world tour, before this tragedy befell him.

I will miss Michael Jackson. His comeback would have rocked the entire world. May he rest in our memories, and may his music live on forever.

Update on VN regulations

Well well well. Looks like minori is finally giving a fairly decent explanation for blocking foreign ips. They say they're surprised because so many foreigners complained about it (Maybe it's because minori is popular overseas than in Japan. I'm not sure.)

Apparently, minori as well as many other eroge companies are being challenged with the issue of the "Freedom of Speech".

Recent VN Regulations and Restrictions

Ok well, time to spill forth and collect the news that have been affecting a certain sect of the Visual Novel industry. To be specific, it's the eroge industry. Now for most of you, you probably won't give a damn, and don't really care, so you don't really need to read this. But it is quite interesting to read anyways.

The beginning came from this article on Canned Dogs.
"TBS news reports that all rape games will be banned from sale or production in Japan. It has been decided. It is estimated that this particular genre takes up about 10% to 20% of the entire industry but the PC software independent review committee has made the decision to ban all these games."
To sum it up for you, it wants to ban rape games. Simple, right?

Future Plans

Ok well, the VN is going well, despite not having any character art yet, but it just started progress eventually. I do think progress may take a break during July though, because I will be in the Philippines, unless my dad decides to bring his laptop. Other than that, there's not much else to say.

It'll be done when it's done. No, that won't be anytime soon at all. Probably won't even be this year. So just sit tight, and just wait. This is a big project after all.

In other news, I should probably redo my review layout. It seems kinda messy for me. Eh. Later.

Ren Route status

I managed to get past the dramatic part, and am easily flowing right into the story. It's flowing quite well, and since my goal is 10000 words for the weekend, I should be having a couple people proofread my script for grammar errors and spelling. Just know that this project is definitely moving forward.

Ren's route status

It's going very good right now. The route is taking somewhat of a dark path, and deals with the issues of dealing with yourself and what it means to truly live life. I can't really say much without spoiling it, but I have a feeling this will be a very good read.
